Uploading duplicate database for backup test

Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading from vBulletin 3.8 to vBulletin 4.
I've downloaded a backup copy of my mysql database on my home pc, and I've also done the same with my forums. I've then uploaded the forums back into a test folder, and I'm wanting to know how I can upload the mysql database back to the server, without overwriting the live database so I can go ahead and run a test upgrade.

Can anyone help please?

You'll need to create a new database to upload the backup database into - http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/create_database
