Widget bacground colour

yep you will need to add additional css in addiitional css, .cms_widget {background-color:#ffffff;}

goto admincp/styles and templates/ style manager were it says stylevars select edit templates from the drop-down choose CSS Templates » then additional.css:

add that code and change the ffffff to whatever color you want
