View Full Version : How to make a post hidden unless a member *explicitly* ask to see it?

Hello,

I would like the moderators to be able to mark some of the post as "hidden".

Those post would appear collapsed to the normal members with a "Click here to Show" button.

Is there any hack/extension that can help me do that?

This functionality already exists with "soft-deleted" posts... in the sense that they are hidden but the Moderator can still show the post if he chooses.

Here is a relevant link from the archive: Hidden posts (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-26968.html?).

I have searched the forum for such a thing but I can not seem to find something helpful...

Can someone please give me some suggestions about this?

Thank you for your support!

- Ilie

I've never seen anything like that. Even regular spoilers are difficult to accomplish these days with so many different browsers and browser add-ons.

You can suggest the feature here (http://tracker.vbulletin.com/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&jqlQuery=project+%3D+VBIV+AND+issuetype+in+%28%22I mprovement+Request%22%2C+%22Feature+Request%22%29+ AND+status+%3D+Confirmed) (I think).
