I am a member of a online community running on a older version of Community server. We are looking to see if we can change forum software to something newer. There are a couple of things we want to try and keep similar to the site and would like to know if it were possible with Vbulletin mods.

The site is based on Adults over 21 that play video games. So we have organized game nights, ladders and tournaments. It also has a blog and I'm pretty sure blogs are no problem with Vbulletin.

So the first thing in question is game nights. Certain games have a certain day of the week it is played. A thread dated for that day its being played is generated and people sign in for that game night they want to play. Here are some screen shots to get a better picture.

So you click on one add your name and it shows up in the game night thread.

The other would be something to keep track of tournaments and ladders. If there is a theme for a mobile version that fits well on Iphones and Android phones we are looking for that too.

Thanks for your help.

Mike

Yes vBulletin has it's own blogging add-on and you can check if they have that mod that you are looking for here. And yes, vBulletin has it's own iPhone and Android app.

Thanks for the info. I have looked, but I can't see any pictures of the mods because I don't own a copy of VB yet.

You are so very welcome and there is a mod for vB 4 that is called Tournaments & Ladders.
