You know there is an option in Forum Manager called "Forum Link" to have the user go to a specified URL if they click on a forum title instead of taking them to the forum.
I would like to do the same for a thread - i.e. the thread would be listed as normal withing the forum, but if the user clicks on it, they will be taken to a particular URL in a new window instead of the thread.
I see the Redirect Thread to URL product for 3.8, but this does not allow a new window. The 4.0 version does, but I'm on 3.8.
