I've been hoping that new releases of vbulletin would fix this issue but this has been happening forever... I have version 4.1.2
Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem with the quotes overlapping the thread ads:

Any help is appreciated! I tried searching the forum for solutions, but can't find any.

Ok then are you positioning one of those ads with a mod?

A link to the site and thread would make it easier to help.

Here's the post: removed

I just realized it doesn't happen with the default style. Just my customized style. But all I remember doing in my custom style is change the colors.
You can switch the styles in the lower left of the page. Select "Totally Default" to see the default style. "Default" has been customized.

Also, the issue happens with both the 1st post thread ad and last post thread ads.

Is that a style from an older version that maybe you didn't revert the template?
It is calling the wrong class in the content area.
Instead of calling class="content hasad" it is calling class="content has_ad"
That is the issue.

Perhaps! I have had the forum for over a year and with all the updates, I can't remember.
How can I make it call class="content hasad"?
I have zero clue.

Go into you postbit(legacy) and search for has_ad and change it to hasad
