Postbit / postbit legacy

Forgive my nubness here,

quick question

what's the difference between the "postbit" and "postbit" (same with threabit / threadbit legacy" ) in the vb templates?

a little on the old confused side.

postbit has the user info on the top of the post. postbit_legacy has the userinfo to the left of the post.
