problem with my banner

ive a problem with my banner
after uploaded it, it looks like this: (the red is where my banner is, also notice the weird position of "forum" & "blogs" tabs)

i would be very greatful if anyone can explain how a fix this
i want the banner to cover all the header and "forum" & "blogs" be on the left side on navbar

well you can do it a few ways
tile the image, or make the banner big enough to fit the header area post a link i will look at it
