Hello!

I just read over one hour of threads, and searching, and I haven't found an answer to my question.
So, here a new thread. :)

Ok, my Facebook Connect 'works'.
We get a couple of people per week signing up via Facebook Connect.

Problem is:::
I never see them back!
I have installed the Members Who Have Visited Today mod (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/misc.php?do=producthelp&pid=paulm_wvt_40), by Paul M.

So, if I go to vB ACP >> Users >> Search for Users >> List Visitors in the last 24 hours
NEVER does a Facebook Connect user come back.
Furthermore, if I go vB ACP >> Usergroups >> Usergroup Manager
Then on Facebook Connect >> Show All Primary Users -- click-GO
It returns: No Users Matched Your Query

So... what's going on?
I'm scratching my head, and don't know what's happening.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Comments?
What could I check? Verify?

Thank you very much for your help!! Much apprecaited

when they signup do they create a signature, or drop a post that's spam ?

Hello! Thanks for your help!

They don't create a signature... nor spam.
Their profile is clean.
I'm pretty sure they're all legit users from our part of the world.

I'm stumped with this odd behavior.

Maybe they were just curious & wanted to login to your site just to look around without having to register.
I say keep facebook off the forums..

True, yet our site is full access without requiring registration.
Even the pictures load without registration.

Maybe I messed up somewhere in the Facebook Connect installation steps?
Odd...

Thanks for the feed-back blind-eddie!!

Ok, I just did the following:

vB ACP >> Users >> Search for User
I entered the eMail address of a Facebook Connect user that registered today.
In his information, of note:
Primary Usergroup: Registered Users
Display Usergroup: Default (is this Registered? Or Facebook Connect??)
Additional Usergroups: Facebook Connect (marked checkbox)

And at the end:
External Connections: Facebook Connected YES

Any thoughts?

For the Default under Display Usergroup, that seems to be just a designation to follow whatever the primary group happens to be.

I would throw an ad up that shows to users with less than 1 post, and ask them :} to fill out a short survey or a poll about facebook connect.
