View Full Version : 266 Queries in CMS?

I installed the page generation stats mod found here:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=239146&highlight=generation

According to it, the CMS pages are using 266 DB queries! The forum only uses 18 which leads me to think something is wrong. Most widgets I'm using are custom HTML that have an ad or picture. The only other one I'm using, besides the main content, is the Categories widget.

Any ideas?

Its a known issue. Apparently the dev's feel that hundreds of queries are okay.

If you go into debug mode on your test site, you can click to see exactly what queries are being run.

Knows what? If you want to look at the queries, you click the little (?) next to the number of queries. I don't know what to tell you to look for. There are a lot of queries the first time you hit a CMS page. You may want to read a few threads about this over on vbulletin.com
