Facebook fanpage for VB4 facebook connect

I would like to use this for facebook connect functionlity on VB....But my fan page doesn't have any APP ID or secret key to enter in the VB admin panel to activate the facebook connect.

can i know how to use facebook fanpage for VB facebook connect?

or do i need to create a brand new facebook app for this??

should be able to edit the ap and apply the id numbers you will have to setup an account with FB to get the numbers , then it will give an ap code to use in a widget or somewhere , I have found setting up FB is a pain in the ARSE but can be done and works when done correctly

I would love to see this issue addressed. I would like to be able to push our content and threads to my Facebook PAGE and not my personal profile.

This appears to be more of a Facebook issue than vBulletin, does that sound correct?

Pages and Apps are 2 separate things. you can have a fan [page] for people to talk on about the site, then you can have an [app] for use with registration to your forum. As of right now vBulletin only uses the [app] for registering, there is no "app wall/page". Members don't knowingly [unless using it for registering on your forum] interact with your facebook [app].

Ok, I know that but the app is linked with my profile and all the published threads to facebook updates my profile status with the title and description of the thread and I want this to be done directly to my fan page.
Maybe an workaround by adding a tab page on my fan page linked to my status page of my profile and then make that tab as the main one?

Hmm, I was looking to do this, too. I set up a FB fan page and I'd like to post the new thread postings to it in order to open my web site exposure there. Anxiously awaiting to hear from someone who has actually done this with some clues how it's done...

How this works?I have RSS on my fan page. I think you type RSS Graffiti in the search box on Facebook and it will take you to their page. Then click on "Go to App" and follow the promptings. It's been a while since I did this so I am trying to remember. :p
