Hi,
I now tried several months the built-in web-template-cache system and unfortunately it is a huge pain:
No practical versioning with deploying tools (it's just online)
No syntax highlightning (in general only a textarea - no editor).
Very complex (in my opinion in a filesystem it would be much easier)
Slow
So is there any possibility in vB 4.1 to move the templates on a permanent basis out of the database. I only found this the "Template Cache Plugin" for 3.5 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=110144).
The template system really breaks our ideas and innovation down, forcing us to manually edit and update changes using the interface instead of updating the files through for example svn.
Cheers,
