View Full Version : General Questions on importing - Really Appreciate some help
Hey guys/girls,
I'm pretty new to VB administration, but have been on the boards for over 5 years. This is my first stab at making a website, and I've run into some problems that seem to be very easy for others. I have been uploading new plugin's, and have not been successful at getting them to be on the left hand side of the ACP. I assume I'm successfully uploading the new products, per this screen...
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/02/38.jpg
But as you can see, the menu for them (specifically the Tabs products) are not showing up on the left side of the ACP. I have been screwing around with them, looking for a option box not ticked... and have broken down to asking for help.
Any insight on what I'm doing wrong and why my new products don't show up as new menu options? Thanks!

cant see that pic well, but not all mods will have a control option in the admincp , some will be in settings or some the place, only major add ons will add a new tab in admincp

Thank you for your response.
Correct, but the two Products I'm referring to state they are supposed to have a new tab in the ACP.
These are the two I'm referring to:

I just had to disable the "Tabbed Forum Home", it was bringing up an error when trying to visit the site.
Any help on this? I would really like to use the Tab mod in my forum. I have it installed, just dont have it on the left of the ACP. Therefor, None of the options.
Please help, it is much appreciated.

This is going to sound really simple, but I noticed sometimes adding a new modification does not always re-fresh the full window on your AdminCP.
Try pressing F5 on your keyboard or the re-fresh button on your browser window.
As for the error on your site... It could be that there is a conflict or unpalatability. You will need to address that issue, within the proper forum / thread.
