html/php codes broken

everytime i post the html or php codes in a post i get this: http://screensnapr.com/v/Y8x7lP.jpg

Any idea on how to fix this?

It kind of looks like something's replacing '&#' (or something like) that with stars - maybe something in the "Censored Words" list?.

Yup you're right. it's the &# but the reason why I have that censored is so people don't register with the same name. I don't know if you know that exploit or not but any way around this so I can have html and php codes working properly?

Just add # & to:

Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> User Registration Options -> Illegal User Names

instead of the Censorship Options
