Hello,

I just want to say that I am really excited by the new 4.0 publishing suite. When I considered vBulletin a few years ago I don't remember the publishing suite being available, but it looks like it might fit my needs perfectly.

I am wanting to make a website that has a forum (obviously!), but that also allows members to have a page that's "theirs," such as www.website.com/member, where their information can be displayed and they can write blog posts (think facebook). I also want members to be able to write articles for the website, kind of like how contributors on a WordPress website can (e.g. I want them to "own" the article -- it being associated to their account, them being able to edit and delete it, etc..). Finally, I need members to be able to upload files so that my website can have a sort of "file repository." Does vBulletin have these features built-in, or available as plugins?

I have been researching the possibility of integrating WordPress with phpBB to accomplish all this, but if vBulletin now has these features, I would much prefer to purchase an already built and tested product.

Thanks for your advice.

I think out of the box, it does most of what your looking for, here is my profile page on a VB forum (http://www.diychatroom.com/members/jamiedolan-30752/) that has the blogs on it, you can see there is a blog tab. I think this is a little different looking in the current version, you can try the demo on the main vb site.

I think this will do what you want for the downloads. (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=231427)

Thanks for your response. As far as the CMS goes, is it easy to change things like links on the menus and the content shown on the front page?
