Really need help with this mod

I've followed all of the directions up to where it says overwrite after uploadin the correct php file into my forums INCLUDES folder. I am unclear as to what exactly I am supposed to overwrite or how to overwrite. This is how the random social groups mod looks now on our vbadvanced page...http://hmandsforums.oliwy.net/index.php

No image shows up for the groups, and when you click you're taken to an error page, instead of the group itself.

I think it just means that there is an existing vba_cmps_include_template.php, so when you upload, the ftp program might ask you if you want to overwrite the existing file (and you should say 'yes').

I did that and nothing happened. It remained the same.

I did that, and PM'ed the mod creator. No response. The thread where I found this mod is quite old though.
