I banned someone today that shouldn't have been... is there any way to re-instate them or do they have to start from scratch and join again?:o

Just go to your admincp > do a search for the user > move them out of the banned group and back to Registered users. Or admincp > users > view banned users > find on list and Lift Ban

Thanks Lynne... the trouble was that I hadn't banned him therefore he wasn't put into any 'banned' file... but it looks like it might have fixed itself... hopefully.
Now I have another problem with another one...
I can't log in and I have to contact the administrator but
This is what I get "
Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here"
When I try I get "ERROR NOT FOUND"
As far as I know I haven't banned his IP and when I searched for it.. it's still there... and there's nothing to say it's been banned.
any suggestions?
Thanks.
Lynne

I don't understand that - the IP is still where?

O.K.....Lynne....
Quick Links> members.... there's nothing there to say that he can't get on.
Users>Search for Users.... there's nothing there to say that he's been banned.
Users>List New Registrations... he's there also....
I can't find anywhere where it says his IP has been banned.
I'm hoping it's just a 24 hour thing.
Thanks
