Just wondering. Why hasn't vbulletin.org updated to 4.0 yet?
This has already been asked about 1000 times.... vBulletin.org FAQ - Read First! (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=234458)
We are planning an update sometime this year...
Moving this to feedback

Oh, I'm sorry. I did a search and didn't find anything. Didn't think to look in the F.A.Q. as I didn't see any threads posted asking.
No worries. Trust me there are a lot of threads in this forum.
We have a lot of custom code on the backend so upgrading it isn't like adding a plugin or a product like we do now with the new versions... This version meets the needs of what needs to be accomplished here for the moment... :)

Seriously....?
Perhaps there should be a subforum added to the main forum index. Title of it ==> Stoopid vB 4 Yet Questions LOL - okay - that was a bad joke - but yes... @ the OP - if I had 100 dollars for everytime this question has been asked... Well.... I'd be on a shopping spree right now. Ms Jacquii needs some new shoes, a new car, a villa in somebody's 'Just south of Rome Italy' ... hmmm... Who wants to hit the lottery!?!?

why does it matter if they have updated or not - not every single website that runs vbulletin software has updated why don't you hunt each and everyone down and ask them why they haven't updated to vb4.

Its a legit question as to why the official mod site is using an old version. Absolutely. We shouldnt be crapping on a noob for asking this question guys. Its like Steve Jobs using an original iPhone and having a press conference telling us all to buy the new iPhone 5 this year. The fact that people are losing it when someone asks this question is very telling though. lol

of course it's a legit question. I don't think anyone is debating that.
But it's a question that has been asked more than several times. :)
And the OP is not a newb, having been registered since 2008.
Also - I don't think anyone's "loosing it" lol - I personally will not be upgrading my forums to vB 4.x because I think the 4.x series vBulletin is a clunky monstrosity. Anyway...
