Not sure what to call this so sorry about the title....
Is there a way to pull a post/post title automatically from the forum and have it displayed on a homepage or something. On a normal website not through the CMS...
Like, say I wanted "Latest Thread" displayed on my homepage (remembering this is a normal html page and not part of the vB CMS as I didn't purchase that).
and even bigger... is there a way to make this recognizable to search engines?
Thanks!

You would just need to add the query to get this information to the homepage.

You wouldn't happen to have a link for more info on this would you? I'm not turning up anything googling...

There are several modifications for putting latest threads on the home page - just copy the query from one of those. And have you looked at the articles forums at all?

I've spent an hour in the articles and mods areas now but can't seem to find what I need. I've also searched google and vb.com. VB.com was the closest I got but still nothing close to a solution.
EXACTLY what I'm trying to do is be able to display 5 of a specific users latest thread titles from a specific forum area. Is this possible? Any hints on terms I should be searching under or something because I'm just not finding anything here...
Thanks!

The query in here would probably work with just adding in an addition WHERE for the forumid - BT - Latest threads member info (Sideblock) (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=251226&highlight=latest%2A)
I'm not sure if you are asking for somebody to actually write this for you (in which case you should post in the Unpaid or Paid Requests forum) or you are just looking for pointers on how to do it.

I've already asked somebody from the forum to get me a quote on this for me but I'm not sure if they have the immediate time. In the meantime I was exploring to see how difficult it was while I have the time on my own hands.
So, no I'm not asking here for somebody to do it for me I was just looking for articles on it.
Thanks!

Unfortunately that's not what I'm trying to do though. I need a way to display these latest threads on a static web page that is outside the vB forum on my website.

I have an article in the vb4 articles forum on how to create a vbulletin looking page. So, you can use that and then take the query from that modification and add it to the php page of the page and put the output into the template for the page and then you would have that.

hmm... I think every step of that is over my head. Looks like I need to forget about it and pay someone then (before I cause everyone here a major headache).
Thanks!

It was actually something I did putting wordpress blog posts from specific categories inside my websites pages. It was extremely simple and didn't require rebuilding any kind of webpage to look/work like a wordpress one or anything. Was kind of hoping there would be something just as simple for this...
