vB and MySQL

I know vB is using MySQL for work, but I don't know MySQL. What's difficult level for administrating of MySQL for vB? I know with increase of Data Base size DBMS need different optimizations and tunes. Where can I look list of needed regular works for MySQL with vB and understand will I make it or not?

You can admin vBulletin without knowing any MySQL at all so long as you don't want to make custom modifications.

You just need to get the MySQL information (host, username, password, database) from your host and you are ready to install vBulletin.

Learning (My)SQL, is of course a big plus to managing the forum.
