Autosave Offsite Article Images

All,
When promoting articles and/or copy/paste stuff into an articles, usually there are images that are offsite. In effort to keep articles forever (places that have the images typically come and go), I would love to have a button that will scan the article, suck off the images, add them as attachments, and have the option of inserting them inline in a small, medium, or large format.

one is copyright infrigements, you can not take ownership of any image without the knowledge and approval of the author, so sucking off images automatically is against that protection of law...

then you save nothing if you do so, because if your members start posting images from everywhere without limitations, your own server will be overloaded with stuff... you will pay for all that hd space, remember...

I understand that... and I agree for about 80% of the time. In our case, articles have to be moderated by our staff first. It is mostly images from that member's photobucket account, etc. Those are the ones I am concerned about.

Maybe you could request it for articles or if you have any coding skills, modify it yourself.
