then edit the code where you added the navtab and add in some color? What is your code?

I'd also like to know how to do this. Maybe a little more elaborate though.. I'd like to change the background colour/image of just one specific tab. I'll be using your own code for the tabs, Lynne.

You want to change this part:
<a class="navtab"
to something like this:
<a class="navtab newclass"And then just define newclass in additional.css:
.navtabs li a.newclass { color: #FBCB3D;}

Thank you Lynne. All works great - there's one thing that doesn't work though. The hover. Is there a way to make it still hover?
Thanks :)

Set a class for hover - something probably like:
.navtabs li a.newclass:hover {color: purple;}

Sorry to bring this up again
I also need to change just one tab, but not sure where to look for this?
navigation.php ? I dont think so
I've searched templates for <a class="navtab" and it exists only in "navbar_tabs"
<vb:each from="tabs" value="tab" key="tabid">
<li<vb:if condition="$selected == $tabid"> class="selected"</vb:if> id="{vb:raw tab.name}">
<a class="navtab" href="{vb:raw tab.url}">{vb:raw tab.title}</a>
<vb:if condition="$tab['children'] AND $selected == $tabid">
<ul class="floatcontainer">
<vb:each from="tab.children" value="link">
<vb:if condition="$link['children']">
<li class="popupmenu" id="{vb:raw link.name}">
<a href="javascript://" class="popupctrl">{vb:raw link.title}</a>
<ul class="popupbody popuphover">
<vb:each from="link.children" value="sublink">
<li id="{vb:raw sublink.name}"><a href="{vb:raw sublink.url}">{vb:raw sublink.title}</a></li>
</vb:each>
{vb:raw template_hook.navbar_after_sublinks}
</ul>
</li>
<vb:else />
<vb:if condition="$link['type'] == 'link'">
<li id="{vb:raw link.name}"><a href="{vb:raw link.url}">{vb:raw link.title}</a></li>
</vb:if>
</vb:if>
</vb:each>
{vb:raw template_hook.navbar_after_links}
</ul>
</vb:if>
</li>
</vb:each>
But not sure how to edit this part for one of my tabs, my tabs are created in default VB4.2.0 "navigation menager"
Thank you

Are you trying to make a CSS edit for one of your tabs?

If you are using the Navigation Manager to add tabs, then every tab has a unique id and you may use that to add color. That has been covered before so you may want to try a search.

That was dumb of me I must say
Its easy to change color and many more things for me now [after some reading] even if I don't know nothing/not much about CSS
Now looking for some samples for editing, will have to read more about CSS these days :D
Thanks Lynne
