Is there away to allow posters to ignore threads?

My posters have requested a ignore feature for threads. Like a check box system that they can check that would make that thread invisible to that poster.

That way the important threads to them won't be bumped off the main page. Is there anything like that or do I need to put in a request for this. I have searched this board and can't find anything.

Well this hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=127487&page=7) does not work for 4.1 any out there that work for the 4.0 boards?
