I've tried to edit the microcart_view_product template but i'm having a bit of difficulty. Would be fantastic if someone would be willing to help me.

To change this you will need to edit this xml file includes/xml/cpnav_microcart.xml

and remove this part of code from the top

When I add a product to the cart the stock level reduces because the product is in the cart.
If I procced to make a payment through paypal and not complete it, the stock remains reduced.
Can I fix this somehow?

Im working on a new way of sorting out the stock levels that should fix this but it will be in the commercial version only as this is working ok for the free version.

once a member has paid for the product they would click on my account then click on downloads there they would see a list of there products with a link to download them from.

when you signed up to your webhost you used a username for the account this is most likly the username you will have to put here.

you can also login to your forum admincp click on maintenance then click on view php info

once on this page scroll down to this

I'm having that problem too. When we tested it, after payment is made on Paypal, it's only re-directing it to the shop page, but not the download page.
How do I solve this issue?

as you will see one is a physical product and will only show the price and the other is a downloable or subscription and has a diffarent format than the physical one.
but i do see a little error in the template, its not that much of a problem as it is showing the right info for each product.
also i would not be able to fix without the style you are using.
also what vb version are you using.

I have a customer who bought a product before microcart was installed and he now wants to write a review however when he goes into that products review tab there is no way to enter it... Bump - seems its only by listing the item as a Product that this problem occurs. Listing it as anything else displays it correctly - so heres another question. Im trying to set up optional fields on a product using colours as I have a item in multiple colours. I have listed it with no price change and it shows correctly on the product page.

My 2 questions -
Is there a way to force it so a colour HAS to be selected?
Also when a colour is selected where exactly do I see this information?

I also noticed that when ordering a product if I change the email in my details it still sends an email to the one in my VB account rather than the one I changed it too.

Yes there is a search being added into the commercial version but not the free version, as im not supporting the free version any more as i dont have the time to support free versions.
i have to support me paying members before anything else and this is taking all my time up as im making new versions of these scripts.

This is the first code that I get after I dump the tables. If I try to install after I get this code, I get the code above. We have traced it to the usergroup table, but don't know if we can delete the microcart in there or not. Any help would be great.

Sorry about all the posts, but after backing up my database, and going on a deleting party, I deleted everything that said "microcart" and "mh_******" in the database, usergroup and user tables. After I did all of that, it finally installed. I'm going to give this a try, and if it works the way I think it will, then I will order the commercial version to support the coder. sandbox.paypal.com is the developers' site of PayPal, so most probably you've setup PayPal payments in Test mode. You need to turn it off (Test mode: No).

Yes, Sandbox is a test site just to test the function of the process without money exchanging hands. It did this in regular mode as well. After a lot of code writing, we finally got it to work on my site, adn it's up and running.

lild100, you can use quantity, and you can add different boxes under it for say like shirt sizes or something.

I will tell you guys this. It's worth the money to purchase this program. If it doesn't work, he will work on it until it does. Nothing but 5 stars for this guy from me.

The product installs fine. The microcart portion of the AdminCP appears normally. The "General Options" portion loads and saves my changes.

Both the "Categories" and the "Product & Services" segments, however, return the following error:

I need help. Nothing I've tried will make this portion of the script run. The store displays fine (so far), but I can't add categories or products. The usergroup permissions part works fine.

An easy fix? No. You need to go to the designers website located HERE (http://www.totally-scripts.com/) and submit a ticket. Tell him to do the same fix that he did for RcHelp. This is the exact same issue I had, and he rewrote the code for my site. It should be the same file. Hope this helps.

Try this, v8huntn.
The fix I use is, go to: Admin CP > Settings > Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details
In the 'Redirect Domain Whitelist' field, add:
https://www.paypal.com (https://www.paypal.com/)
https://www.sandbox.paypal.com (https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/)

The redirect works fine for me now.

The "functions_wysiwyg.php" (in the includes folder) is not anymore included in a fresh install of 4.1.5 (i copied it over from an older vBulletin backup)

there is nothing wrong with the cart system,
the reason you are getting this is that you need to edit the file \microcart\editor\assetmanager\settings.php to your server settings for it to work.

the commercial version does not use this editor any more so this problem has been taken out.

I just came across an issue. I have a product that has a discount for certain usergroups. This product also has optional addons that do not get a discount.

When someone from the usergroup buys the original product and an addon, they get the discount for the product, BUT they also get the same discount amount for the addon as well, which shouldn't happen.

I couldn't find a solution by searching this thread, so I can create another bug report, if you want.

I've made some progress. I successfully uploaded the files and product.

microcart shows up well in admincp, and its link shows up on actual site navbar as "e-shop", but when I click on "e-shop" I get an internal server error.

"Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Are there any common mistakes that people make? Would improper upload path cause this error?

Issue #1: When you add an item to the cart and they are not in the usergroup for a discount, no discount is applied like normal. However, if you change the quanitity, it changes the quanitity and adds the discount. I attached 2 screenshots to show you exactly what happens.

The above issue still exists.

For me, this free version is a little too buggy. I'm fortunate that I only need something basic for a few physical items, but I've had to avoid using addons and discounts because of bugs.

At some stage, if things grow, I may look to get a better shop, but it's hard to put faith in the paid version of this product based on this free version, which is a shame; it looks great within the forum.

It's vB error and not of this mod, or any other mod. It appear to my own mod too.
The parse code:

has problems in some configurations in window servers. This must be change by removing the refference &

you need to chmod folder microcart and all folders witin this folder to 777.
and also you need to edit the assetmanager config file to you settings.
This has been fixed in the commercial version as it does not use this editor any more.

So you have the free version installed or the commercial version.

What you would need to so is look in the microcart/functions.php file and check the saveproduct function as thats how it will save the info you have put in when you click save.

So you want it where the mini cart goes up the top like the icart.
If this was to be put into place it would only be in the commercial version no the free one.

The free one here you have the source files so that you can change it to what you want.

I can tell you that the commercial version has its own page layout system where you can drag and drop the blocks for the front page to where you want them.
This gives the admin and venders the option to make the shop/cart system look the way they want and not have the default layout that would be made for them.
With this system iv made you dont need to edit any templates just move the blocks to where you want, makes it very easy for admins to change the look.

I have a strange bug

if I go to admincp - invoices - edit - save
it multiplies Subtotal, Shipping Fees and Amount to pay by 100.

Before edit:
Subtotal: 50.00
Shipping Fees: 7.00
Amount to pay: 57.00

after edit (no change made, only chosen edit and save:
Subtotal: 5000.00
Shipping Fees: 700.00
Amount to pay: 5700.00

after another edit/save:
Subtotal: 500000.00
Shipping Fees: 70000.00
Amount to pay: 570000.00

I can't figure out why it does this :\

Thanks for this great Mod, I have a couple questions or issues. When someone buys something from my site they have to fill in the name, address etc. This info never clears for the next person to buy something. Also the paypal link does not work, when you click on pay with paypal a broken link comes up. It use to work not sure what happened there. Any help would be great.

I'm getting exactly the same error with the application.

I've added in an agreement (and changed a product to use that agreement) and also added in a valid download URL. I can upload files fine, but it still gives me the error. I've even tried to make a basic sub where a member will be promoted to another user group, and it still doesn't work.

Any ideas? I'm running VB 4.1.7 (patch level 2)

The fix I use is, go to: Admin CP > Settings > Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details
In the 'Redirect Domain Whitelist' field, add:
https://www.paypal.com (https://www.paypal.com/)
https://www.sandbox.paypal.com (https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/)

If you have any other payment url's you use add these as well.

Yes you can when adding a product choose subscriptions as the product type and the usergroup they will be upgraded to and thats it.

My first guess is that it is probably a CSS issue somewhere. You can probably fix it by adjusting the CSS attributes for your style and this mod. Whatever is throwing the layout out of whack can probably be easilly tracked down through the CSS stylings.

Which unit are you using to count weights? Please use the minimum, eg gr instead kgr as its easier for calculations.

the system will work with paypal and a few others but does not work with ucash or any other points system only real cash is used.

there is plans to add a points system use for the commercial version at some stage.

I tried to re-upload the entire add-on and go through the installation instructions as well. The version it says I'm using is 1.1.4. I'm also running vb 4.1.9...

I've checked all the permissions and everything is set correctly; however, it still displays a blank page in the adminCP. In the forum section, it appears the cart is working...but I just can't create anything because of the blank screen to truly test it.

I can't get the pdf (invoice) in Greek. I use UTF-8 character set and vb4.1.10.

I'm in the same boat. The killer feature for me is an inventory-based option that we could label, and assign inventory counts. As for coding, couldn't you check for an additional pipe "|" separator, and use that for inventory, and only allow one (multiple would be too confusing)?

Example:
Field Title: Size
Options:
Amount | Name | Count
0|S|16
0|M|37
0|L|45
0|XL|33
2|2XL|13
2|3XL|11

This example would give me an inventory count of 155 items, and override any value in the Stock number, plus it allows me to charge more for "plus" sizes automatically.

uploaded the functions_wysiwyg.php file from VB 3.8.x, its working, making some tests now.

I'm in the same boat. The killer feature for me is an inventory-based option that we could label, and assign inventory counts. As for coding, couldn't you check for an additional pipe "|" separator, and use that for inventory, and only allow one (multiple would be too confusing)?
Example:
Field Title: Size
Options:
Amount | Name | Count
0|S|16
0|M|37
0|L|45
0|XL|33
2|2XL|13
2|3XL|11This example would give me an inventory count of 155 items, and override any value in the Stock number, plus it allows me to charge more for "plus" sizes automatically.

in the commercial version yes you can add a paypal address to each product as it has a multi-vender system in it.

This is the only free version of this script and its not supported any more as its so out dated.

As you will see from other members they have uploaded the missing file from an older version of vbulletin to get it to work with this version.

The support i give to this free script is very limited as i have said its so out dated now i dont have the time to change the code for this.

I will help out from time to time and answer any questions that may come up.

Im working full time on my commercial scripts and dont have the time to update free scripts.

I can tell you that the commercial version does work on vb version 4.1.12 without any problems and its got alot more than this free version.

Can somebody help me on this one.

I am selling a subscription on my forum that allows members to upgrade to a "Premium" membership. This "Premium" membership allows them to PM other members and have custom avatars and signatures etc.

When they do an ugrade using the forums subscription service it moves them to the "Premium" usergroup. This "Premium" usergroup becomes their primary usergroup. This usergroup changes the users profile name orange etc. This way you can easily see in the "Who has visited" section who is a premium member and who isnt.

When you use the subscription section on micro cart is adds the subscription but only adds the new usergroup as an additional usergroup not the primary one. This means that their name doesnt change colour etc.

Two questions -

1. Is there a way to make micro cart change the primary usergroup rather than adding an additional usergroup ??

or if not

2. Is there a way this can be done in the vbulletin software? I have the "Premium" usergroup set to "override primary group title/markup" but when I did a test that didnt seem to happen.

The test i completed meant that the members primary usergroup stayed as a "RegisteredMember" and they had "Premium" usergroup as an additiona usergroup.

Any help would be much appreciated.

In the commercial version this has been changed to let you choose if you want it to change there main usergroup or add a sub group.

Although not a perfect cart for what we use it for, this mod works well on our forum using 4.2. We have had a little trouble finding where to change the css colors for a couple of the background colors, but nothing major that we are worried about. Check it out below....

Yeah, we just moved everything to a dedicated server this week and got that error after the move. We have the full version so we are having TotallyScripts handle it.

It was at one point, but ever since migrating to a new dedicated server it has had errors. We have since built an off site store and have been linking back and forth between the two and attempting to make the transitions as seamless as possible. I am about done with the theme of the new store and plan to make changes to the forum to fall into line with the store.

But before the server migration it was working really well. It had a lot of functionality in the paid version. Although there are a few things that are not or have not been possible that we were looking for. One example is using CSV files for mass product database uploads, with microcart this is not possible so it does take a good while to upload a respectable number of products.

Admincp-> Settings-> Options-> Site name /URL
Add:

to the white list.

If you mean vB4.2 the difference is on the Navigation. This version uses a different way for navigation menus. You can add them manually or ask the author for an update.
