Does adsense required 6moths? my new domain built on Nov.2110
i have some problem on approval by goggle adsense they said
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.
Issues:
- Under construction
---------------------
Further detail:
Under construction: We've found that your site's pages are incomplete
or under construction. We require websites to be launched and navigable
before being considered for AdSense. Your site must also contain enough
content for our specialists to review, and to display relevant ads.
Once the majority of your site is complete and functional, we'll be
happy to reconsider your application.

why did you post this here?

If you post a link maybe we can get an idea of what your site looks like, but this would be be asked in some sort of Google or Adsense forum since it's not a vBulletin related discussion.
Does this work on 3.8?
Does what work? Adsense? You can sign up for Google Adsense for any website, forum or not... but yes it does work on vb 3.8.You would usually put the ad-code they give you into one of the built in "Ad Location" templates. www.google.com/adsense

I don't know anything about adsense, but that link gives a screen telling me to log in regiester with 'tester' as the referrer, so that may be why they assumed it was under construction.

I can't find any public info on your site at all without registering... all I can see is it says something about "unlocking" with hidden content which makes me assume the content on your site is less than legal- so ad sense won't approve you.

Your site seems perfect for ad sense, do they give you any reason with the rejection?

nope no reason, my one friend told me I'd have to create a landing page with content that the forum scares them away? I am curious as to how others have been able to get approved. I've tried many different ways including the blog which has been up for over a year.

another question, how are you able to run google and amazon ads? Something I'd like to know once I get approved lol :)

They absolutely will not approve sites that force a user to register in order to read any posts or threads on it. They also will not approve sites that are warez sites, adult sites or adult related. So if you are running an adult site, a warez site or you HAVE to register to read the site you will not get adsense at all.

interesting....so what should I do then? hide the threads that require you to be registered??

That may not work at all. They more and likely require to see everything. Your best bet would be to use adbrite or put an affiliate in place and forget about adsense, unless you comply to their terms you will not get an account.

You still have private forums that they cannot see posts in. So i do not know if they would approve it.

You can have private forums, just hide them so the public doesn't see them at all- no one will know they exist but the people with access to them. But really a couple of private forums shouldn't be a problem.
