Moving to a new host, need help please!

Hi!

We have successfully moved the site to a new host. The problem is none of the Mods (hacks) are working. They are visible in the adminCP and seem to be enabled but not working in the new forum.

So here is the set-up:
vB 3.8.

Old server:
Server Type Linux CentOS release 5.3 (Final)
Server Apache v1.3.41
PHP 4.4.9
MySQL Version 5.0.67

New Server:
Server Type Linux CentOS release 5.5 (Final)
Server Apache v2.0.63(cgi)
PHP 5.2.9
MySQL Version 5.0.91

I just cant figure out why this hasnt imported properly, the rest of the site is bang on! Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not familiar with all of these, but it looks like you could just reinstall most of them without risking any data loss. Particularly if you make sure to reupload the files and just reimport the products like you would during an upgrade. I presume you've double checked to make sure all the files from the modifications got moved in the upgrade? Even made sure to check any special instructions that each modification may have had that you may have overlooked when moving them?

The new server setup should work fine.

I remember when I moved over to a new hosting provider... they needed to add some security rules. Once they did that some of the mods that weren't working... finally worked. Just a suggestion.

Okay... Figured out the problem, yeah it all works now, we forgot to enable mods in the config.php file which was disabled for the move... A bit embarrassing but it works!
