What errors are you having? You just posted an image of the basic debug stuff - am I supposed to be looking at something specific in that?

I looked at the image. I see no errors in it. All I see is the standard debug information that goes on the bottom of the page when you are in debug mode.

Simple, turn off debug mode.

As Boofo says, turn off debug mode. It should be a line in your config.php file that you can just remove or comment out.
$config['Misc']['debug'] = true;
If you don't have that line in the config.php file, then it's a mod doing it and you need to turn off the mod.

found it in the confing.php and deleted it, which left me with an undesirable index.php.
now it has left me with a problem which I cant fix by using CP.
can you please help, much appreciated
Thank you and have a happy new year

I don't understand what you are saying about the index.php page at all. All removing that line from the config.php file does is get rid of debug mode. That's all. If something is wrong with your index.php file, then it is due to something other than turning debug mode off. How about a link to the site to see what is going on?
