Real Time Chat?

I am looking for a real time chat plug in that doesn't involve logging into any third party account on FB, Twitter, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions? I prefer a free one if possible.

we use comet chat on our forums and every one loves it...it was super easy to install too...10-15 min and really no code or very little to add..well worth the $50!
