I am looking for some advice on this web site. We just opened the web site for public use approximately forty eight hours in the past.
We are looking for suggestions on how to market this forum to the public and for forum moderators on this web site. It is all being worked on. I look forward to your critique.

Spend some time creating your own unique skin for it, and avoid the semi-transparent overlay effect as it causes a lot of lag scrolling up and down the page - it's really off-putting

I like the style... but when viewing a thread the "bar" on top with the "thread tools" drop down is too bright in my opinion, and the text of the Facebook Like button is too dark for the dark background. In Facebook you can choose to use the "Dark" style button which will make it show up better on a dark web page.

Overall style looks good..
some suggestions:
1) create a fevicon.ico and load it into your forum root.
2) Make the Logo little bit brighter
3) I believe it would look lot better with fixed width...try that one...
Good luck!

I don't really have anything against the skin (apart from the clunky scrolling :p), but it's just a generic Black-Ops skin with the game's logo on it. I just think if you're gonna try and compete in an area which already has large established communities, you need to put more effort into your site to stand out.
