why does editing forumhome_forumbit_level2_post effect forumhome?

the title pretty much says it all. how come when i edit forumhome_forumbit_level2_post it changes the way the forumhome is displayed?

because it's a forumhome_ template...
What are you trying to change, maybe you're editing the wrong template.

oh i get it, its a piece of the forumhome template so if i edit it, its going to change the way forumhome looks.. ahh ha! thanks.
