You need to revert couple of templates. Ideally you should find the updated 4.0.8 of the theme. Try reverting couple of modified templates possibly - vbulletin.css,vbulletin-chrome or options or profile.. Wouldnt be a bad idea to make backups of these templates before reverting.

The closed thread button is 10 times it's size and that's all.

Any new CSS definitions or have you modified existing ones?
Check this StyleVar - control_content_padding
See what is entered in there, should be top & bottom 4px left and right 15px.

Nothing modified and all of what you said is entered there.

This problem arose when I installed Bluefox 4.0.5. The profiles are not messed up in the Default Style

Ahh ok then it's an issue with just that style. What version of vBulletin are you on AND what version was Bluefox 4.0.5 last compatible with? - If the last version of Bluefox was only compatible with lets say 4.0.7 and your currently on 4.0.8 or above that can cause issues.

I'm on 4.0.8 and it has only caused two issues : Profiles and the Closed thread button.

Make a backup of your current style just so you have it and then create a new "child style" of the one that has issues, do your work in that one. Create a new default style then copy the templates causing an issue from the default style and paste into the currently "messed up" style. See if that helps.

When you figure out where things are it will be much easier for you to make changes :D.
