'Check Version' for all hacks

Description:
With this hack you can easily check all installed products for updates, it show it directly in the product manager and with one click it checks all hacks for updates.
The information is updated every night per cron job and when you want it can inform you with an admin message or an email, you can also de/activate the notification for each hack individually.

This version should work with vBulletin:
3.6.X
3.7.X
3.8.X approved
4.X.X approved

FAQ:
Why it doesn't check the newest version on each load?
Because it would take to long until the page would load. And I'm to lazy to make an async check (Too much to change ...).

It shows an error with the hack X. Can you correct this?
No, that is a fault of the hack author. He/She made an error in the version check url. My hacl has only an error if the build in version check show something different then mine (that in the drop down box ...).

Installation & Update:
1) Upload all files in folder upload to ther respective directories on your webserver.
2) Go to ACP / Plugins & Products / Manage Products and import product-pvc.xml
3) Under "Product Manager" click on "Check all products for new version", that the hack can get the newest versions.
4) If you want you can activate the adminmessage or email notification, but don't forget to insert your mail address, under "vBulletin-Options" -> "Plug-in- / Hook-System".

Uninstallation:
1) Go to ACP / Plugins & Products / Manage Products and uninstall the product named ''Check Version' for all hacks'.
2) Delete the following Files
- includes/cron/pvcron.php
- includes/md5_sums_pvc.php
- includes/version_pvc.php

and i updated the hack. the where some faulty phrases and because of that it doesn't shown an error.

thats not a problem of THIS hack. it's a problem of the hacs which have an error. the version check url is not right. send the authors a pm that they can correct this.

I've reinstalled it quite a few times.

What happens, immediately after installing, I get that message as soon as the Plugin Manager page refreshes....right after the last plugin is displayed.

still works for me. The mods which give an error, it's a problem with the check version url. Try checking the version with vB and it gives an error as well.

Same here, but it is only happening for one mod on my site. If I run the version check link manually in the browser for this one mod, it shows the version number fine.

* Note * For those of you who get an error on some of the mods.... This is because this modification checks the back links to that modification (normally here). IF any of the following is true, you will get an error

The developer's site is offline
The link is incorrect either because the thread was moved or renamed
The developer had a typing error in adding the back link


These errors can be safely ignored... You'll just have to manual check as you did before you installed this modification. But I would still call this useful as it does seem to check most of the modifications I have without issue.

this should be part of vBulletin 4.1.12 by default !

+ little suggestions:
1. can be the "Error" shown in different color or/and e.g. using Italic ?
2. support multiple emails

- some issue, when the main page notification message should appear?
i can't get it to show even while there are detected new builds of installed modifications

Q: can it differ between enabled and disabled modification
(aka set automatically notification to off when it's disabled and to on when enabled)

Don't waste your time, it hasn't been working since you started using cloudflare. Just like with login problem.
Cloudflare interferes with the CURL fuction feature.
