Hi all,

I had vbulletin v3.6.6 and just upgraded to v3.6.8 Patch Level 2.

Someone with admin privileges made a change which made it possible to have "Human Verification Question" at the user registration page to "To prevent automated registrations".

That's all sounds great. However, not only it doesn't work but also it prevents users from registration. Basically it doesn't display any questions to be answered in the first place. And we don't know what exact change was made by the admin in order to reverse it.

My question is how do I disable this feature? In the admin panel there is nothing that refers to disabling this plugin/product/feature.

Upgrading from v3.6.6 to v3.6.8 didn't help either. Here is the snapshot (http://qalifba.com/problem/vbulletin3.6.8.jpg).

So please I need your help urgently.

Thanks in advance,
Verdana

Are any of your vBulletin templates changed from their originals?

ACP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> « » again to see the list of all templates. Look for highlighted ones.

Thank you for your reply. In the style manager none of the styles have been changed from their originals.

Solution found.

The problem was in the "User Profile Fields". It needed to be turned off by specifying it not to show at the registration page.

Hope it will be benefit for those who have the same problem.
