Infinite Within - suggestions about the style?

This is an austrian site about tarot and spirituality. I want to ask you for some feedback about what I can do better with the style. Any opinions are appreciated.

The blue link text is to dark. The forumheader backgrounds are way to busy. I would lighten the opacity on those so they don't steal the attention.

Maybe cleanup some of the borders and bevels. Either remove them or blend them with the element they are apart of.

Do that and I think you should be fine.

I like the style. It almost has an x-mas feel. If anything, maybe take the whitish text on black background down a bit. Instead of #CCCCCC try #AAAAAA instead. It takes a bit of that 'jumpy' look away, but some people like brightness, so it really depends on what you like. :)
