removing thousands of spam posts

Any way to remove hundreds of pages of spam posts?? My 3.8.4 forum is turned off but recently got spammed. I'd like to be able to save the valuable real info that is present from years of useful pet lover info.

You can use the admincp > threads & posts > prune function to remove a bunch if you can enter the correct criteria.

Thanks Lynne. What are the proper settings to remove spam posts since 9/1/10 (most are 9/8-9/10)? No real posts for over 1 year (the board has been shut off tho obviously not properly).

I guess you could probably just set Original post date is at most X days ago to something like 90 or 95 or so?
