How do I add a custom button to the editor?

I've searched with all the search terms I can think of for this, but haven't found any mods, articles, nor posts about it. I want to add a YouTube button to the editor, like I had in 3.8.x. I have the bbcode in place, ready to go, but instead of typing the tag into the editor when posting, I want there to be a button just like all the others for quote, video, php, etc.

Does anyone know how to do this in vB4?

Into the regular editor or the quick editor? There should be an option when you add teh bbcode to add a button (you insert a link to an image) and that puts the button into the regular editor. There is an article on how to add them to the quick editor, but I haven't tried it on vb4 yet.

Thanks, Lynne. I may have to take the time to write a new plugin or product for vB4.
