nice style one thing I dont like.

The time display highlighted, been looking thru but cant see where its been done to make it plain text, any chance of pointing me right way.

I would usually only provide support on my own site as stated in the release, but since this is a very easy edit I'll put it here:


Go into your AdminCP > Styles and Templates > Style Manager:

For the style Christmas 2010 click on All Style Options : Go

The templates will be shown. Scroll down until you see the block headed Time Color. On the left of the box below Standard CSS Attributes you'll see entries for Background & Font Color. Delete this text in the Background box: url(christmas/misc/nav_fill.gif) repeat-x top left

If you want to change the background and font color further, just enter the appropriate hex codes for the colors you want to use. You can find a list of color codes here: http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm

Remember to click Save CSS when you're done. :)

Well I installed this for Christmas, I did not have alot of problems
and it worked wonderful... I have modded it to work with my forum
and now it is in the wings for next year... Thanks so much for
a great Style.. All My Users Enjoyed it...

Thanks for all the kind comments and I hope you all had an excellent Christmas and New Year celebration. I anticipate using 3.8.x well into the future and I'm glad to see there's still plenty of others using this version. Also good to see so few problems reported. Subject to interest I'll re-issue this style with some updated features next year. Meanwhile I'm working on more free and subscription styles for both vB 3.8.x and MyBB 1.6 which you can demo/download from my site.
