OK, so recently I transferred my forums from forums.kingdomheartsmedia.com to kingdomhearts3.com/forums .
Moving all the files and installing the forums was the easy part, but when it came to transferring my database, things got a bit ugly. We finally managed to get the full database onto the other server, but now we're experiencing bizarre glitches and things are taking ages to load.

Some of the glitches are:
Avatars not appearing, and when you try to upload them an error occurs
The Admincp not appearing
The symbols appearing at the top of every page
When you post on someone else's VM, the text appears saying an error has occurred when an error has not occurred, and it actually posted, but you can't see it until you reload the page
2/5's of the time, when you click a link, instead of taking you to the page, a little box appears allowing you to download the php of the page instead

Those are the glitches I caught. I'm sure there are more, even.

Help?

- What are the errors when you upload the avatars

- usually means someone edited a file without using a proper text editor and some extra 'stuff' got saved in the file and is causing that junk to get spit out on pages. If on every page, then my guess is it was the config.php file that was edited improperly. If so, this will cause all sorts of problems. So, create a new config.php file using a proper text editor, enter the correct data, and upload it and see if this fixes many of your issues.

- VM error - again, we can't help if we don't know the exact error message.
