Search not returning many results

Our forum, www.TabletPCBuzz.com, has been running well on VB4 for some time but I have noticed that the search box function returns no results or very few when obviously it should show more.

Here is an example:

In our Lenovo forum (http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forumdisplay.php?34-Lenovo-IBM), there are several threads with X201 in the title, yet when I search (using search this forum), I only get one result.

Likewise, in our HP forum (http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forumdisplay.php?17-HP-Compaq) where there are thousands of threads/posts, the most popular keyword, TC1100, returns a mere 25 links.

Any ideas?

After you upgraded, did you Rebuild your Search Index as instructed? Did you verify there were no errors when you did so by looking in your error_logs? Do all your Forums have "Index New Posts in Search Engine" set to Yes? If they are set to No, then no posts in that forum will get Indexed and therefore will not show up in any searches.
