Hi guys, just helping my friend, he installed xcache and use it in vb

before installed xcache, he use admincp >> vbulletin options >> Cookies and HTTP Header Options >> GZIP set to Yes, its works make the pages become smaller size about 80%

so now still he need GZIP enabled? so they can work together

please share your knowledge and experience, just still new using xcache

Yes.

Gzip and Xcache have no relation to each other, they do totally different things.

Guys, if i want to enabled gzip from server side (if its better for server performance), and not enabled by vb setting, by my self, how to do it exactly? or if there is tutorial link that you use please share it

i search in google and found some way enabled gzip using htaccess, is it the way you use?

please tell what do you do in your server actually
