admincp question

one of my admin and close friend of mine modify a XML file to make all menu on left side in admincp to be in alphabetic order but after i upgrade forum from 3.8.5 to 3.8.6 now i have repeat menu links like:

plugin
users
stats

my friend pass away before i could ask him what file he change now would like help to where should i look .

anyone have a idea where he did those change ?

The menu is controlled by the file /includes/xml/cpnav_vbulletin.xml
