I'm not a forum admin, but I'd like to report the bug as the end user, which has the problem with forum.
I'm using one of the forum, and when I'm trying to edit my own post in Advance mode and trying to refresh the page, I see White Screen of Death.
It's normal behavior?
It should just redirect me somewhere?
See: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=19142

This could be related:

Powered by vBulletin? Version 3.8.4

Is there any way that this bug could be fixed? Or already it is?
Can you point me to the bug report, that I can send to this forum admin to do the upgrade?
It's quite annoying.

Following your instructions:

Reproducible steps:
1. Edit your own post.
2. Click on 'Go Advanced'.
3.
On Firefox/Chrome: Press F6 and Enter.
On Opera: Press F8 and Enter.

You should see WSOD.
It shouldn't do redirect, or something?

I reproduce the issue on my 3.8.6 forum... and my 4.0.8 test forum...

Both of these are the newest versions available for their respective branches so there is no upgrade available to "fix" this.

The VB 3.8 line only has 1 small update planned and it's already in beta testing so this will NEVER be corrected on 3.8... As for 4.0.x there are hundreds of real bugs I'm sure will take priority... If the license holder wants he could login to vbulletin.com and report the bug but the reality is it probably will never be addressed because this doesn't interfere with the normal operation of the forum... I'm not even sure it is a bug... what should it do? Why would anyone refresh an advanced edit page? it just doesn't make any sense.

But you are right, on VB 3.6 series it does reload the page, not go to a white screen.

He clearly says he is not the licensed user in his post, he is an end user.

Not really sure what you point is - as the message says ;

If you already knew, not sure why you responded. This is not even a support forum.

Anyway, it seems I forgot to close this thread as well, so corrected now.

If you have a problem as an end-user with a vBulletin powered forum, please contact the site owner or administrator and inform them of the issue. They should be able to forward the issue to vBulletin support.
