What is the width of the sidebar block?

I'm trying to add an imagine in the sidebar block..

What is the ideal image width?

Unless you changed the stylevar, the width is 270px by default. Then, you've got margins and padding in there, so I think it's somewhere around 245px.

Correct its 245px wide inside :)
