I've seen a default friend/buddy mod for the vB3 series, but no matter how hard i search i can't find one for vB4. I have the feeling that there is a mod and i just can't find it, rather than there hasn't been one created.
Basically just looking for a mod that adds a specific user (userid 1) as a default friend on the buddy list to all new forum registrations.
