so im trying to make my site like http://www.bimmerpost.com/
the home page is powered by wordpress and every time you click into a post, it takes you into a thread that was created for it in the vbulletin side.
would anyone have any idea how this is done?
thanks,

Im not sure how they linked multiple forums to their home page.
No official mod for vb 4 is out yet to do this. I read though that the vb3 versions have a few cookie flaws in their that are vulnerable to being compromised. I'd hire a pro for a job like this. Don;t want your board to get compromised because of an author's mistake.

Wow. They did an amazing job on their site. That's vb3.7 though.

That is nicely done.
Looking at the View Source, it doesn't look too complicated, here's the 'second story' link:
<div style="float:right;"><a href="http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=567644"><img src="/wp-content/themes/next/mythumb.php?src=http://www.bimmerpost.com/storyimages/4c59d569-2e00-f3fc.jpg&h=135&w=205&zc=1" alt="E90 Owner Gets Creative With Ambient Light Controlled LED Angel Eyes" width="205" height="135" border="0" /></a><br />
</div>
The part in red is just a hard link to the thread in the forum. Note that the forum software is in the 'forums' sub-folder. I don't see a sign-in for the Wordpress part, so maybe there are user accounts only for the forum, which would keep things simple for user management. Put Wordpress in the site root and the forum software in its own sub-folder, use separate databases for each, should work easily enough...

You can use page/post links to mod for vBulletin to create the linking like they have.
If thats the mod they use I dont know, but its the easiest way for you to do it.
