I have a paid license and I am still showing as unlicensed in this forum. How do I get the status changed. I am using the same email as on my license. I did not know where to post this so I am sorry if this is not it.

You are showing up fine also. As it says on the screen, you may need to wait up to an hour for the verification to come from vb.com

I've recently changed my email address, then updated it on this forum. Obviously, was shown as unregistered now.

So I updated it in the user control panel of both vBulletin licenses I manage, one some days ago, one today. I'm still showing up as unlicensed.

Could this be related to my email address including a "+"? Many sites seem to have trouble with that (won't give it up since it's a great privacy violation tracking feature to use aliases for different purposes).

(edit: thanks for the fast fix!)

The thanks is nice, but no one did anything. The system is automatic. :)

I am still showing as unlicensed. I think I set everything up correctly. Email addresses match and box is checked.

Read the part in bold below. You have not done that.

Randallflagg,

You are currently showing up as unlicensed.

To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php) (vB-Germany users click here (http://members.vbulletin-germany.com/membersupport_priority.php)) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive.

To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status.

The update of your account can take up to one hour.

Thank you.

Thank you for the reply Lynne.

I followed the link and checked the box to allow vBulletin.org to validate me. Am I missing something on that?

I did all of that yesterday.

I just looked over there again and you have definitely not checked the box for vbulletin.org. You have only checked it for vbulletin.com. They are two different sites.

You are correct Lynne (of course).

I was reading it wrong and didn't assume they would need a check mark for their own site for some reason.

It should be there now. Thanks for the patience.
