I run a music community site and would like to create a band listing page. There should be a detail profile page, pix, show dates, fans ...
Previously I used this module call TOP MUSIC when I was running phpnuke.
How can I create something like this within VB?
Top Music is a module for PHPNuke which allows you to create a music portal without technical knowledge.
You will have to install PHP-Nuke, install Top Music and then, manage your contents with graphical interface.
Features:
- A-Z list of Bands: list of all the artists ordered alphabetically
- Bands information: page with all the information about every artists/band: biography, name, year, related artists, genre, etc.
- Bands' Discography: list of albums from every artists with a section with the tops
- Album information: page with all the info about every album: covers images, title, band, genre, list of songs, etc
- Song information: page with all the information about every song: title, album, artist, number, lyrics...
- Infinite custom fields: create your own information fields in order to costumize your pages. You can create file fields, text fields, extended text fields, image fields, link fields and select fields.
- Listen song track: it's possible to attach audio files with every song in order to listen them
- Search engine: search for Bands, Albums and Songs and its contents
- Ranking lists: most visited and voted albums, bands and songs
- Voting system: vote each album song and band
- Uploads system: add images and sound files easily
- Themes: create you own look&feel
- Images optimization: if you have GD library activated in your PHP server Top Music will optimize the images automatically for a better performance.
- Easy configuration: easy configuration section
- Lots of blocks: Lots of different blocks as Most voted albums, new songs, Top albums mosaic, etc.
- Multilanguage: content in multiple languages
