And why is it needed to post a fully new mod for a simple question?

Standard URLs
Basic Friendly URLs
Advanced Friendly URLs
Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs

Where the htaccess is, I don't know. I grabbed one from the licensed section at vbulletin.com forums. (sticky thread)
