My Postbit Looks Disgusting

My postbit is a disaster. I'm running 4.0.4 I've tried many of the posted fixes with little success. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I fixed it somewhat with these two mods:

It'll do till I find something better. vB4 licks the sack.

First link people seem to be complaining about it not working with vb 4.0.6+.... Second link, same issue, seems they did some editing to that particular part.
