I'm sure some of you can remember playing LORD, Tradewars, Pimpwars back in the BBS days. I wonder why we have not seen more support to be integrated with vB considering how popular the MMORPG text games like +++++ Wars have been.

We have the arcade systems but they are single person and don't really allow users to compete other than for top score.

Maybe everyone just sticks to console and PC games now? I just think considering what +++++wars has done at Facebook it would probably be a big hit.. maybe even vbcredits or other point system type integration that could carry points back and forth would be nice.

I'm far from a programmer but it does not seem like it should be that hard to pull the usernames and passwords along with what ever point system amount you choose should it?

what word is being censored? +++++? Why would the "m" word possibly be censored?

As to the original question- yes I am surprised there aren't more social games as well.

Edit- love your site btw.

The big thing is time. Most vB Coders do it as a hobby. To make a decent game takes about 2 months of *Full time* development, and then a ton more support and updates.

In addition it's not a simple matter to just graba facebook game and integrate it - it's against the law =P

Look out for one coming from our company soon though =)
